The Fifth District Dental Society is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider Approved by the New York State Dental Association.

Mandatory Continuing Education
New York State's Mandatory Continuing Education Law for the dental profession became effective January 1997. Practicing dentists in New York State are required to take 60 credit hours every three years.
Continuing Education Credits
Continuing education (CE) credits are available for all lectures that meet the NYS Education Department requirements. One hour of credit will be awarded for each 50 minutes of presentation attended. MCE forms for NYS Continuing Education requirements will be given to each attendee upon registration the day of the seminar. In order to verify attendance, a four digit code, read at the end of each seminar must be marked on the Fifth District Continuing Education Form. This is your only proof of attendance. After completing the form please bring the white copy to the registration desk before leaving. The yellow copy is for your own records. It is highly recommended that you retain copies of all your CE forms. NYS Education Department performs audits on a random basis.
